Born an army brat in Denver, Colorado on Sept. 17, 1945

...yep...that makes me the elder member of the band. 

Married with three children and three grandchildren.   

I began playing drums as a toddler with pots, pans and spoons...

started playing for real at the age of 12 when my grandfather bought

me my first snare drum.  In my first band at 15 playing local school

events and parties...graduated to the night club scene at 16.   Majored in music

 at Western Carolina University but went into radio after one year of college and

was a DJ for 20 years. .  Have played drums with "the Drifters", Bobby Bare and

others...as well as Hickory Community Theatre productions of "Bye, Bye Birdie"

and "Once Upon a Mattress" , the Lenoir Rhyne community percussion ensemble and

 several local groups before landing the gig with the Wild Intentions Band.  It's great

 being with this band.  I thank God everyday for the talent He has given me and for

the opportunity to share that talent with others.
